Unemployment rate
To check about the current situation and potential opportunities it is always worthy to have a look on the unemployment rate, which is provided on a regular base from all countries.
Of course it is always much easier to find a work, when the unemployment rate is not high at all, even it is not impossible to find good work when there is an overall high unemployment rate
After the unification Germany in the 90s the unemployment rate was on their peak level. It was difficult to integrate the people from the „new“ parts of Germany in the job market, but after 2004 the unemployment rate constantly began to sink down. At the end of 2021 and a slight increase due to Covid the unemployment rate was at 6,3%. An interesting fact is still that there is a higher unemployment in the „new“ parts of Germany.
To have a comparison with Europe it is quite clear that unemployment is not a big topic in Germany. Especially for young people there is a huge and good chance to get integrated quickly in Germany.
